Tannery Pond trustees thank town for support; public asks for care in park crossing

Miriam Deutsch, president of the Tannery Pond Board of Trustees, addressed the board to thank officials for support of ongoing building projects and programming at the community center. "On behalf of the Board and the staff at Tannery Pond, I want to express our appreciation and gratitude to the board," she said.
A resident who followed thanked ORDA for cooperation and asked that, as the town and ORDA plan sewer work and connections, care be taken to avoid disturbing the park or creating routing that would later need to be moved. The resident asked that the crossing of Route 28N be mindful of park plans so the park is not disturbed by construction and later realignments.
Board members thanked Tannery Pond for its partnership and noted they will consider park impacts as ORDA and town engineers coordinate designs.
