Sewer committee warns funding timeline could delay bid awards

At the meeting Mr. Williams (speaker 2) reported roughly four committee meetings and two funding meetings since the last board session and said, "We are running out of time on our bids. We might not be able to award bids at this point because we don't have the funding in." He added the group is working with ORDA and other stakeholders to find a path forward to allow planned openings to proceed on schedule.
Board members acknowledged the complexity and the need for continued vetting of the project's impact on the town and on ORDA operations; no formal financial action was taken at this meeting.
