Emergency Manager George Mauldin told the Cleveland County Employee Benefits Committee on Nov. 6, 2025, that Classen Family Medicine recorded 262 total encounters in the most recent (September) report — the most since the COVID period — and that employees are increasingly using on-site services.
Mauldin said the September activity included 6 drug screens and 28 on-site clinic visits and showed an uptick in IV administrations and B12 injections. He and staff characterized the pattern as a growing reliance on the county-provided, on-site clinic for routine and minor care.
Committee members thanked staff for supporting the on-site clinic and noted that higher utilization could mean earlier treatment and fewer lost workdays. The committee did not take formal action on the report.
