Trustees discuss community events, possible TIF use for automated CPR device

Trustee Jeff Graham reported the Fire Department is exploring purchase of an automated CPR device to provide continuous compressions and said he would inquire whether TIF funds could assist with purchase. Zoning Officer John LeVault said taxing bodies have some discretion and that an ordinance could be passed to allocate TIF funds for the equipment; he characterized this as a potential mechanism, not an approved transfer.
Other committee items included a discussion led by Trustee Wilson on timing for billing backyard chickens, Trustee Callan's question about the squad car repair, and a liquor‑license question for a Music Bingo fundraiser (the Community Center's insurance allows individuals to bring alcohol but not sell it; President Dowdy said he would check current insurance rules). Office Manager Kari Scott reminded the Board that garbage hauler applications have been sent and must be placed on the April agenda for approval.
