President Bruce Dowdy opened the April 6 meeting by asking the board to appoint an auditor. Trustee Tammy Wilson moved and Trustee Tara Ramsey seconded a motion to hire Rich Hooper of Lively, Mathias, Hooper & Noblet; the appointment passed 5-0.
Mr. Hooper then presented the FY2025 audit and said the audit "resulted in a clean opinion," noting the Village's general fund, TIF fund and MFT fund. He described the overall financial condition as good and answered board questions about fund balances and reporting. No formal follow-up action was taken beyond the appointment and acceptance of the audit report.
