Board approves routine reports, bills and sets March meeting date

At the Feb. 2 regular meeting the Stonington Board approved routine items including the minutes from Jan. 5, the Treasurer's Report for January, department reports for Gas, Water, Sewer and Police, and authorized payment of bills.
Motions to approve each item were made and seconded and recorded in the minutes as passing by unanimous 'Yea' votes. Trustee Tara Ramsey complimented Village Works on snow removal and announced a Stonington alumni event at the American Legion on March 28, 2026. President Bruce Dowdy set the next regular meeting for March 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in Village Hall.
The minutes record no controversies on these routine items; staff will carry out usual administrative follow-up such as filing reports and issuing warrants.
