Stonington board grants two liquor licenses and local raffle permit

Trustees approved liquor licenses for Stoney Slots LLC and Mulvaney’s Pub LLC and granted Raffle License 26-27 to the Stonington American Legion, each by unanimous vote at the Feb. 2 meeting.
At its Feb. 2 meeting, the Stonington Board of Trustees approved two new liquor licenses and a raffle license for a community organization.
President Bruce Dowdy asked for motions to grant licenses. A motion by Trustee Andrew Callan, seconded by Trustee Tara Ramsey, granted a liquor license to Stoney Slots LLC; a separate motion approved a liquor license for Mulvaney’s Pub LLC (moved by Ramsey, seconded by Grover). The board also approved Raffle License 26-27 for the Stonington American Legion (motion by Jeff Graham, seconded by Tammy Wilson). Each motion carried 5-0.
The minutes do not record conditions attached to the licenses or any public comment on the applications. Administrative staff will complete licensing paperwork and issuance.
