Town of Solon board approves modest budget adjustments and January bills

The Town of Solon Board unanimously approved a set of budget modifications and the town's January bills during its Jan. 21, 2025 meeting at Solon Town Hall. Councilperson Shawn Reed moved to approve budget adjustments increasing A599 and A9030.8 by $1,000 each and DA599 and DA9010.8 by $1,750 each; the motion was seconded by Jim Barden and carried with all ayes.
Following the budget motion, the board approved the January bills. The motion to approve bills was made by Brian Guernsey and seconded by Dana Smith and passed with all aye. The minutes record no dissent or abstentions. The board's roll call earlier in the meeting listed five voting members present: Supervisor Corey LaSalle and councilpersons Brian Guernsey, Jim Barden, Dana Smith and Shawn Reed.
