Chazy board confirms new substitutes, coach assignment and custodian hire; accepts Hilliker resignation

Following an executive session on personnel and student matters, the Chazy Union Free School District Board approved a slate of personnel actions March 10. The board voted to hire per-diem substitutes Jenna Marcotte, Liam Perkins, Liberty Brinker and Samantha Brenner (pending fingerprint clearances where noted); appoint Kassidy Turek as volunteer assistant modified girls coach; and hire Samantha Gebo as PM Custodian at $19.20 per hour (step 5), pending fingerprint clearance as recorded where applicable.
The board also recorded personnel motions on resignations: it decided to table Jane (Becky) Hubbells letter of resignation effective June 26, 2026, and accepted the resignation of PM Custodian Michael Hilliker effective March 13, 2026. All motions recorded in the minutes carried unanimously.
