The board recognized several student achievements during the Feb. 10 meeting. The CCRS Harvard Model UN team and faculty advisor Steve Cross were congratulated for participation in the 73rd Harvard Model United Nations in Cambridge, Massachusetts; listed students included Wynter Jarus, Dawson Hebert, Griffin Durocher, Sophia Lynch, Calleigh Clark, Gwyneth Compeau and Julianna Inzunza.
Trustees also acknowledged Benjamin Crosley and Alex Breyette for taking part in the CCMEA All-County Festival on Feb. 6, 2026. The minutes list students whose artwork was chosen for the Annual Student Juried Art Show at Plattsburgh State University, with specific awards noted: Dawson Hebert won 3rd place in printmaking for “Blue Hawks,” Peyton Dumars placed 2nd in printmaking for a series titled “Blooming,” and Jack Carroll won 2nd place in drawing for “800 Meters.” The board also noted that Shawn Paul Hansen placed first in both individual events at the Section VII Swimming Championships on Feb. 7, 2026.
