The Chazy Union Free School District Board on Jan. 13, 2026 approved NYSPHSAA Section VII combining applications with Beekmantown Central School District for both Varsity and Modified Girls and Boys Outdoor Track for the 2025–2026 school year. The varsity combining motion was moved by Lee Barcomb and seconded by Chris Demers; the modified-level combining motion was moved by Jason Bruce and seconded by Craig Giroux. Both motions carried unanimously.
Each motion authorized the Superintendent and the Board President to sign the applications. The minutes explicitly note there will be no additional cost to the district beyond routine league administrative fees; the board did not record further operational detail during the meeting.
