During the principal and personnel reports, district leaders introduced several staffing changes and new hires for the coming year. The list included new hires for culinary instruction and science/chemistry, a full‑time school nurse (Casey Lock), a new special‑education/math-support teacher (Justin Kenzie), a welding instructor (Travis Turner) and a counselor (Wes Nagel), among others. Leaders also said three teachers who were on maternity leave have returned and several staff changes included reassignment of teachers to different subjects.
“Casey Lock will be joining us as our full time school nurse,” the principal said when listing new staff. The board moved and approved the personnel report during the meeting with a unanimous voice vote.
