Urbandale schedules downtown open house; materials, QR code and comment options available

Rose announced that the project team will hold a public open house tomorrow at the former Green State Credit Union building with a brief presentation at 5:30 p.m. and an open-house format running until 7 p.m. She said staff has publicized the event through a Facebook event, the city newsletter and direct mail: "last week, we mail direct mail postcards to, give or take about 800 properties in the general vicinity."
Staff will post the presentation and display boards on the city's downtown project webpage after the event and provide an email submission tab for comments. Rose said there will also be tabletop exercises and consultants available at the event to discuss uses, parking and how draft code components fit together.
