Tree Board reviews year-end finances; question raised about $800 removal charge
Summary
During review of the FY 25/26 year-end financial report the board raised a question about an $800 tree removal charge; Trish Fuess said $600 of that may have been for a hazard tree on private old hospital property and asked staff to clarify entries for the new inventory program.

The Tree Board reviewed the year-end financial report and had no additions from the prior month, but board member Elaine Edwards asked staff to clarify the location and accounting for an $800 removal charge recorded in fiscal year 25/26. The board asked that the entry be entered correctly into the city's new inventory program.
Audience member Trish Fuess said she believed $600 of the charge covered a hazard tree on the old hospital property and noted that the parcel is private property. Jamie Ledding will follow up to confirm the work location and accounting treatment and report back to the board.
