"We just need someone," the department representative said, urging board members to refer RN or LPN candidates. The speaker said the MCH side needs an RN for billing while clinic work could be done by an LPN.
The health official also said vaccine revenue has declined from the previous year, mirroring a national decrease in vaccination rates, which reduces revenue generated from immunization services. The department noted it is working on the county's community health assessment (iPlan), with the overall project due around July 2027 and an online survey available for local input.
The committee did not take action but asked staff to continue recruitment and to share iPlan materials with board members when available.
