County approves consent agenda including ASPCA "Subaru Loves Pets" grant and rural-health funds

At its Aug. 10 meeting, the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners approved a consent agenda that included several resolutions and routine items. The clerk recorded a 20–0 vote to approve the consent agenda after it was moved and seconded.
Items read into the record included: resolution 26 8 1 (charge-off debts in the Montgomery County Clerk's office); resolution 26 8 2 (amending the fiscal year 2027 budget); resolution 26 8 3 (accepting and appropriating funds awarded from the ASPCA 2026 Subaru Loves Pets program grant); resolution 26 8 4 (accepting and appropriating State of Tennessee Department of Health Rural Health Transformation grant funds for Montgomery County EMS); resolution 26 8 5 (authorize work and execution of documents for a stormwater drainage project); resolution 26 8 6 (acceptance of donated land to extend the Montgomery County Greenway); and a resolution authorizing a contribution agreement with the Industrial Development Board of Montgomery County, Tennessee. The consent package also included minutes, clerk reports and routine county office submissions.
One consent item, resolution 26 8 7 (to modify and amend commissioner compensation), was pulled from the consent agenda by its sponsor for separate consideration and was not approved as part of the consent vote.
