Adam, speaking for the utility department, told the council the utility had three water leaks during the month, completed 89 work orders and pumped approximately 11,600,000 gallons of water. He also reported that "1 of the new hires, Josh sent in and passed his basic water exam" and that another staffer was scheduled to test the following day.
Adam added that crews finished trenching all the way to town into Crenshaw and began laying pipe on the new section, with two crews now installing and roughly six tons of asphalt placed on the project. The Council asked no formal questions requiring action; the report was accepted as part of routine departmental business.
