Matt Scott presented the FY26 Environmental Health report, saying "Environmental Health generated approximately $65,000 in permit and inspection revenue during FY26 while continuing to expand services across both counties." He reported 301 private well water tests, 152 septic inspections, and 97 septic permits issued, and noted ongoing pool and tattoo facility inspections, nuisance complaint investigations, and Private Well Grant reimbursements in both Mills and Fremont counties.
Scott framed the revenue and inspection counts as part of continued service expansion across both counties; he did not request new funding at the meeting. The board recorded the informational report; Fremont could not take formal action because it lacked a quorum.
