Board approves two probationary extensions for district staff

The Central Square Board of Education returned from executive session and approved two personnel actions extending probationary periods.
The board approved a motion "that the Central Square School District Board of Education approves to extend the time of Alexa Barelli probationary period to 09/01/2026," a motion moved by the presiding officer and seconded by a committee member. The board then approved a similar recommended resolution extending the probationary period of Robert Elizano (transcript spelling) to 09/01/2026.
Both motions were seconded and passed by voice vote; the meeting record shows no roll-call tallies were read aloud during the open session discussion.
