Planning Director Sarah Carroll presented the North Marina site plan for 1192 E. Saratoga Road, describing a proposal that would include a boat ramp, floating dock, toll booth, bathroom facilities partly used for storage, trail connections and parking. The plan shows 30 long parking stalls for vehicles with boat trailers and 19 regular stalls (two ADA-compliant) for a total of 44 stalls on a 5-acre site.
Commissioners asked staff to clarify whether an existing trail through Northshore toward American Fork would remain (staff confirmed it would), and sought detail on lighting and site features; Carroll explained that the City requires photometric plans showing fixture level and light distribution. Commissioner Scott A. Hill moved to forward the site plan recommendation with findings and conditions; Commissioner Chris Roman seconded and the motion passed 6–0. Staff said they will evaluate a former scout camp barn on the property to determine how it fits into future plans.
