The board also approved a fiscal appropriation request to the sheriff for $145,076.61 and voted to set a public hearing on special-use permit case 26SUP369 (applicant Lance Perkins) for Sept. 14, 2026. Chair instructed staff to prepare the required notices and documents for the scheduled hearing; the planning staff earlier reported the Planning Commission recommended the SUP with a 5–1 vote.
