Ash Creek Special Service District reports sewer lines in place, invites council tour

Mike Chandler, representative for the Ash Creek Special Service District, updated the Toquerville council on sewer infrastructure and reuse projects serving the Silvercliff subdivision and surrounding areas.
Chandler said the final pump station in the Silvercliff subdivision has been set and that the trunk sewer line from the Parkway project is complete, adding, "So, sewer is flowing." He described a reuse pump station, irrigation pond and booster station being built in coordination with the conservancy district and noted the district hosted a recent groundbreaking for those facilities. Chandler invited councilmembers and the public to schedule a tour of the treatment plant to observe operations.
Chandler also said he had received notices about an intent to annex the Solara parcel but that a formal petition had not yet been submitted; he said the district and city will monitor the petition process. He encouraged council members to coordinate with Ash Creek staff if they want a facility tour.
Council accepted the report with no further action requested.
