Board honors staff degree completions and student FFA achievements

Doctor Kelly Burlet and other HR staff announced the names of program graduates; the board thanked them for choosing to remain in parish classrooms. The meeting also highlighted multiple Lockport Middle School students who earned state FFA honors in a range of categories, including ag communications, poultry, and diversified crop production.
Board members praised the students and staff for their dedication over the summer and noted that a camera crew will be on campus the next morning to recognize an award recipient. No board action was required for the recognitions.
