New charter executive director highlights partnerships with Novato Unified and upcoming 30th anniversary

Capobianco said the school is fully enrolled, has waiting lists and is focusing on strengthening systems, deepening student supports and rolling out a head of student support, a full‑time counselor and an expanded care team. He told the board, "We really focused this year, in addition to me settling in on strengthening our systems, really looking at deepening student support, and continuing our strong partnership, with NUSD." He also noted the school’s charter renewal and Waldorf accreditation renewal work and invited district collaboration on LCAP and strategic planning.
Trustees thanked the new director and asked about school visits and partnership opportunities; the board encouraged ongoing collaboration ahead of the charter renewal work next year.
