At its April 7 meeting the South Blooming Grove Village Board voted to reschedule two public hearings for May 5, 2025.
Resolution No. 025 moves a public hearing on a proposed local law amending Chapter 235 (Zoning), section 235-14.1. Trustee Zalmon Rosner moved the resolution and Deputy Mayor Abraham Weiss seconded; the board recorded three ayes with Mayor George Kalaj and Trustee Yitzchok Feldman absent.
Resolution No. 026 moves a public hearing on a proposed local law amending Chapter 222 (Vehicles and Traffic). Trustee Asher Guttman moved and Deputy Mayor Weiss seconded; the resolution passed by the same 3–0 vote with two absences. The board did not discuss the substantive changes to the code at length on April 7; the item was scheduled to permit public comment and formal consideration at the May 5 hearing.
