Game, Fish and Parks reports participation numbers for Adventure 250 and Walk 250

Nick Harrington of Game, Fish and Parks summarized the department's Adventure 250 outreach and the recently closed Walk 250 program. "So far, we have 1,487 submissions across 5,059 participants," he said, adding that 445 individuals have earned enough points to join the Adventure 250 club and about 150 more were close to qualifying.
Harrington said Walk 250 concluded with 183 participants logging a combined 32,437 miles and that staff can provide a follow-up report with final numbers. Commissioners thanked the department for the report and asked for any additional breakdowns Harrington could supply for the commission's final report.
