Town manager: Ward Water to begin work; Select Board authorizes farmers market ad hoc committee

Board members asked for details on the proposed payment schedule and grant coverage and the town manager said he would provide the specifics to the board and public.
The town manager also requested authorization to explore forming an ad hoc farmers market committee to evaluate interest, logistics and legal/liability requirements for a market on town property. The board authorized the town manager to solicit volunteers and draft a committee so the town can begin planning if sufficient interest is present.
