Miss Huggs presented a staffing update and described CPAC (Champions Pathway to Alternative Certification for Teachers), which the State Department approved in June.
"At this time, we have 14 enrolled participants across several instructional and critical needs areas...3 of the teachers have already earned their certifications since they joined our cohort this summer," Miss Huggs said. She listed participants by subject area and said CPAC strengthens the district pipeline by training employees and community members for certification.
Board members asked for follow-up and a fuller presentation later in the year; Miss Huggs said a full presentation is planned and that recruitment and onboarding are underway.
