Trustees asked whether adults from other cities could attend; staff said the program is designated to serve a seven‑county region and the district would work with nearby residents. The board approved the MOU; the recorded outcome included one abstention from a trustee who disclosed he had involvement drafting the MOU.
Trustees said they supported the program’s potential to expand educational opportunity and workforce certification for adults who did not complete high school.
