Chairman Randy Dean called the Board of Equalization to order at 9:15 a.m. Assessor Lori Stevens presented a late-filed homestead exemption application; the Board approved the exemption on a motion by Ted Gans, seconded by Charles Fritsche (Ayes: Gans, Dean, Fritsche).
Stevens also presented the county's annual cemetery ownership report, stating the county has nineteen cemeteries and that ownership remains unchanged. She then presented the three-year plan of assessment and Tax Roll Correction No. 8 for 2026; the Board approved the tax-roll correction, which increased assessments by $364.10, on a motion by Gans and seconded by Fritsche.
