The Red Willow County Board of Commissioners voted July 27 to add and approve Resolution 1601, which authorizes transferring up to $750,000 from the Inheritance Tax Fund (Fund 2700) to the General Fund (Fund 0100).
Clerk Penelope Cooper asked the Board to add the resolution to the consent agenda. Commissioner Randy Dean moved to add the item and Commissioner Charles Fritsche seconded; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with Ayes: Gans, Dean and Fritsche. The resolution was included in the consent agenda that the Board approved later in the meeting.
The transfer authority is recorded as Resolution 1601, Book 24, Page 108. No public discussion or separate debate on the transfer occurred during the meeting; the resolution was adopted as part of the consent items.
