Planning staff and commissioners told the Zoom audience that community feedback from the July 14 engagement was attached to the planning commission packet and will inform upcoming discussions. The commission has been conducting a line‑by‑line review of the Cascadia Partners draft and will begin focused working sessions in mid‑August to tackle items with little consensus, including front yard setbacks, duplex rules, parking standards and ADU details.
Moderator and staff urged residents to attend the next sessions and reiterated that the Zoom series continues with a dedicated ADU guidelines session the following day. "We finished our written review of all the written documentation during the last working session," a planning commission member said, noting the commission will next prioritize topics that produced substantial debate during the line‑by‑line review.
