Mayor Dave McDowell told trustees the water level is 244.13, down more than 7 inches since the last meeting and about 6 inches below the long-term average; he cited the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers six-month forecast showing levels a few inches below average into April.
He also reported the final engineering report for the village water system is due the following day and will be distributed to the board for review; the board is slated to accept that report at its December meeting. Trustees were informed that the water-level trend and the upcoming engineering report will inform planning and potential projects.
