The Village of Sodus Point Village Board on Nov. 21 adopted RESOLUTION NO. 24-11b declaring its intent to act as Lead Agency under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) for the Village of Sodus Point Water System Improvements Project. Trustee Laurie Verbridge moved to adopt the resolution; Trustee Kathy Madison seconded. The resolution passed on a roll-call vote with all members present voting aye; Deputy Mayor/Trustee William Kallusch was absent.
The board reviewed Part I of the Full Environmental Assessment Form (FEAF) and authorized the mayor to sign and circulate Part I and the project site figure to interested and involved agencies. The motion authorizes village staff, the village attorney and engineering consultant B&L to take actions necessary to establish lead agency status and complete required notices under 6 NYCRR Part 617.
