The Town of St. Armand on Jan. 22 adopted a Procurement Policy in accordance with General Municipal Law Section 104-b that defines bidding thresholds, required written or verbal quote levels by dollar ranges and documentation practices for purchases not subject to competitive bidding. Deputy Supervisor Karl Law moved adoption and the resolution passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
The board also adopted an Investment Policy for town funds that delegates administration of the investment program to the Supervisor, specifies permitted instruments (special time deposits and certificates of deposit) and requires collateralization practices for deposits exceeding FDIC insurance limits. Both policies are effective for the 2025 calendar year.
