Chris Sherkey (S5) said the measure—referred to in the meeting transcript as "Spas"—had been approved to appear on the November ballot and asked county officials to schedule a town hall and provide a detailed line-item account of planned capital expenditures. "Now that it has been approved to go on November ballot, I would like to know when the town hall will be for Spas, and if we will get a line item in detail on how that money is expected to be spent," he said.
Sherkey also raised a secondary concern about directional signage for a local business that remains on the route despite the business being closed; he suggested covering outdated signs and sending an update to tourism outlets if the business will remain closed.
