On SMSD en la radio the superintendent described Bright Futures as an instructional and community approach intended to raise academic achievement and social-emotional learning. He also said schools that participate in the district’s community-school approach can share practices districtwide to accelerate student progress. The superintendent urged parents to connect when they have resources or needs so community partners and schools can coordinate supports.
