Roofing near completion, EC Glass turf delayed after hidden curb; access control phases advancing

Construction staff told the committee that roofing projects across the division are wrapping up, building-envelope repairs at EC Glass and RS Payne made good progress over the summer, and access-control installations are progressing through phase two. The Construction Project Manager, Jordan Eubank, said some projects finished while others encountered unforeseen conditions that briefly delayed completion.
"Fort Hill is complete. Paramount elementary School will be complete this week," Jordan Eubank said, listing roofing work and other projects. He reported that turf and track demo at EC Glass uncovered an additional interior concrete curb and a trench-drain system that must be replaced, causing roughly a one-month delay to turf replacement and requiring additional pricing and approvals.
Eubank said Heritage High School's turf and track are complete and that access-control phase one is almost finished, with phase two started at several schools; he said an RFP for 2026-27 design work should be released this week. The committee requested that future reports include more detail about transportation and bus-maintenance costs.
