"The resolution does say billboard sign, and that's what the application was for," said planning staff (speaker 4). The board moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote.
The planning staff indicated the sign does not require a state (KDOT) permit because it is not on a state or federal highway; it requires only county permitting and compliance with the listed conditions.
