Commissioner (S9) said a previous street change removed parking on one side and that some cars were towed; he described staff and developer conversations about signage and said an additional section of road would undergo similar review. Brad Fries (S13) of Nashville DOT responded that the development-review process includes opportunities to realign intersections and work with developers to remove hazardous slip lanes: "For example, we have previously talked about, 3rd Avenue North, location where we actually have some existing slip lanes there, and we are working with the developer on a plan that would eliminate those slip lanes." Commissioners also raised construction-enforcement concerns about vehicles queuing in travel lanes and asked staff to monitor hot spots and hub-request responses.
No formal action was taken; commissioners requested staff and developers coordinate on signage plans and realignment through the development-review process.
