Park Commons fills up: coffee shop and sports bar planned as occupancy rises

Dirk (staff) updated the board on 445 Park Commons, reporting that after switching property managers the building is filling back up and is now "88% occupied, 93% leased." He said the front retail space will host Asalon Collective Coffee, a local proprietor expected to open later this month.
Dirk also said he signed a letter of intent with a fitness concept for the last remaining retail suite and that the micro business incubator fundraising on Coliseum Way, in partnership with the Arts and Business Council of Greater Nashville, is ongoing. He noted Voodoo Brewery, a sports bar concept at the Speedway corner, is slated to open in October and that the board will be invited to preview the space.
Board members welcomed more mixed-use activation across campus and discussed holding a future fair-board meeting at offsite locations to visit different campus venues.
