Brenham ISD updates policies, raises purchasing threshold to $50,000 to speed construction work

Gillentine said the higher threshold is intended to reduce delays for time-sensitive construction purchases. The board approved updates to local policy and accepted the policy-service update 01/27 as presented, and trustees asked administrators to continue monthly monitoring and reporting on high-dollar requisitions during the construction period.
