Trustees voted to approve both resolutions by roll call.
In board reports Trustee Evans (water/sewer liaison) said the sewer plant treated an average of more than 900,000 gallons of effluent per day in March, an increase of about 250,000 gallons per day from February; he attributed part of the increase to rain and inflow. The board discussed ongoing operational work: sludge hauling, a newly installed chlorine feed system, a pending price for a sludge transfer pump installation, and a lost PLC control incident that interrupted filter operations. Planned actions include a pressure‑reducing valve installation, PLC control upgrades and a hydrant‑flushing schedule; trustees asked residents with sump pumps discharging to the sewer to contact the village to reduce inflow and treatment costs.
Separately, members of the public reported brown water in taps; trustees noted scheduled hydro‑flushing and meter reading with the new computer system as steps to address discolored water and improve billing accuracy.
