The council scheduled a 'State of the Town' event for Monday the 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Westside Regional Park, first entrance off Pratt Siding, and asked department heads to send materials for a wrap-up of last year. Chair (Speaker 4) said, "The state of the town is good," and urged department heads to submit information before the next meeting.
Council members also provided community updates: rec basketball has two weeks remaining, high-school girls play tomorrow at the town gym, JV softball beat Baldwin, and sign-ups for adult leagues continue. Chair reminded the public that the next Food Truck Friday will be at the next town meeting and that two trucks (including a taco truck and one identified as "JP") are expected to attend.
