Commissioners discussed whether to stream meetings live or post recordings; staff described a short-term plan to publish edited meeting videos to a city YouTube channel and to develop live-stream capability at the new city hall. A staff member said they had already "create[d] a a YouTube channel" and could post edited video after meetings while the longer-term live-stream system is implemented.
The commission asked staff to proceed with posting recordings and to pursue live streaming once the council chamber technology is installed in the new city hall. Staff said they would post to a YouTube playlist and share links on city social channels and that comments could be disabled to control feedback.
