Commission appoints David Peach as highway commissioner and names Megan Baird to airport board

Stubblefield also recommended Megan Baird to replace Jerry Converse as the county representative to the airport board; commissioners noted Ms. Baird’s background (West Point graduate and a pilot) and the nomination was approved by voice vote.
The chair thanked the nominees and the nominating committee; the clerk will process the appointment paperwork and county directories will be updated to reflect the new membership.
