Couch filed the motions, commissioners asked clarifying questions about scope and use of funds, and each item was moved, seconded and passed by the voice votes recorded at the meeting. "I appreciate the sheriff's office getting these grants. They're a big help," the chair said during the discussion. The voting language as announced at the meeting recorded passage for each of the presented budget resolutions.
