Seaman students return from FCCLA national competition; student describes entrepreneurship project

A FCCLA advisor told the board that a student contingent attended nationals in Washington, D.C., navigating travel delays and busy events but visiting Smithsonian museums and competing successfully. The advisor said the trip provided education and experiences students would not otherwise access.
Student Megan spoke about competing in entrepreneurship, describing a business plan and product development she created for competition. “It’s to give students an outlet for their passions and to combine that with career ready skills,” Megan said, adding the experience built her presentation and networking confidence. The board and audience thanked the advisor and students for the presentation and support.
