At the Aug. 10 meeting, commissioners reported that activity on the 117 East Monroe Street property is stalled.
"Don't really have any updates right now. Kind of at a at a standstill," one commissioner said. The group noted new, sturdier fencing around the site and questioned whether the town or the property owner had installed it. Commissioners said there is little for the ERC to do at present unless additional legal or ownership action is taken.
The commission did not take formal action on 117 East Monroe Street and asked staff to monitor the site and report any new developments.
