City administrator: parks & rec committee has chosen finalist; conditional offer accepted

City administrator (speaker 3) told the council that the parks and recreation committee had interviewed finalists for the parks & recreation director position, selected a recommendation to bring to council at an upcoming meeting, and extended a conditional offer that the candidate accepted. "The conditional offer was sent to that candidate today, and he has accepted," the administrator stated.
He also said he would distribute printed copies of the city's strategic planning materials to council members later in the week to aid review. Council had no recorded public comments on the administrator's report.
